Want to be involved with Open University? Volunteer! There are several ways to support this wonderful lifelong learning program – give volunteering some thought. You’re sure to make a difference and you’ll definitely meet some interesting people along the way!
OPEN UNIVERSITY FRONT DEST GREETERS
Welcome students and provide general info. Open University sessions are for eight weeks in the fall, winter and spring. The time committment can be flexible and the position is easy to learn.
OPEN UNIVERSITY HOSPITALITY TABLE
Set up refreshments and help serve coffee and snacks.
OPEN UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT (TA)
Volunteer in person on Mondays and Thursdays to set up A/V equipment and manage hybrid classes. Knowledge of Zoom and A/V equipment is helpful, but can easily be taught!
