Finally some good news and an event to look forward to – the fall 2020 Open University schedule is here! Due to the pandemic, the decision was made to move OU entirely online via Zoom. Not an easy decision or an easy task, but with the help of a dedicated education committee, wonderful volunteer instructors, and a determined lifelong learning coordinator, we have exactly what we’ve been waiting for. Thank you, everyone!
There are some changes for this session. No in-person activities are scheduled; offerings are held online via Zoom on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Lunch & Life is still free and open to the public, but you must register to receive the Zoom links. No internet? No problem! You can use Zoom on your phone! And please register early: payment needs to be received the Wednesday before classes and speakers are scheduled; emails with Zoom class links will be sent out every Sunday evening.
We invite you to share the OU schedule with friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else you know who might need some connection and activity in their life right now. We can also take this opportunity to reach out to those who may have not had access to OU before. After all, the more the merrier! And aren’t we all due for a little more merriment?
