National Volunteer Week – Wednesday

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

Not every volunteer of The Shepherd’s Center of Richmond (TSCOR) holds an advanced degree, though some definitely know how to make the subject and verb agree (you know who you are!). And we wouldn’t be at all surprised if more than a few actually know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics. But we do know for certain that ALL of our volunteers are great because they serve. ALL of our volunteers have a heart full of grace. And they are ALL souls generated by love.

Thank you for serving, TSCOR volunteers!
